Who am I !?!
Those of you that know me...I bet you would never guess that I bought a sewing machine. I am trying out all different kinds of things in my life. I have never sewed anything with a machine. The only thing I could sew was buttons on a shirt by hand. Well...I not only bought a sewing machine I bought a combo machine that also does embroidery. We got a great deal on it. They were selling these machines at Joann Fabrics for $800.00. I thought $800.00 was crazy for a machine I did not even know how to use. With lots of research on the internet I found one at Wal-Mart for $379.99. We went to Wal-Mart and they were sold out, all that was left was the display that was boxed up. They said it would be $300.00 since it was on display. We took it to check out and we paid $275.00. I could not believe it. Everything is there and it works great. I know you are wondering if I am still the same old Michelle. I am...I guess being a mom has brought out something in me. Matt said he didn't realize he married a Susie Homemaker. HaHaHa! Below are pictures of my machine and first piece of work. It is a burp cloth with a B for guess who!?! The embroidery could have been bigger, but I did not have a lot of thread so I wanted to make sure it would work. I don't know what you think, but I think I did a pretty good job for my first try ever. I have a lot of ideas in mind. I will work on them and post pictures as I go. Take a look below.

Have not finished this one. I was just playing with the size of font. I will add black and white ribbon later.

Hey Michelle! I saw your name on Ashley's blog and thought I'd come over and say HI. Very cute burp cloth! I've actually been thinking about buying a sewing machine too. That one looks really neat!
Hello and thanks! I really like it. It is very easy. I bet you would enjoy it.
I will try to post again. The only posting I have ever done was a horseback. Very proud of your handiwork (Brylee and the burprag). Look forward to more blogs.
