Has it been 3 1/2 months...

For those of you that follow along with my blog let me apologize for the long absence. Let me tell you A WHOLE LOT has gone on in the past 3 1/2 months. Were to start? My last post was in October and we were in the process of buying a foreclosure house in Snyder, Texas. Well that fell through. We lived in a hotel and my parents 5th wheel trailer for a month and a half. Oh yes, if you thought we were close before let me tell you we got even closer being in those tight living arrangements. The day the foreclosure house fell through the house we did buy came available. THANK GOD! Our new house is just outside of town off a county road and we do not have close neighbors. If I want to sit out on the porch in my night clothes again I can! We bought a 3 bedroom 1 bath house with a big shop on 2+ acres on a hill. It is so peaceful and definitely HOME! There is quit a bit of land around us so if we are here for a good length of time we would LOVE to buy it. Matt absolutely LOVES his new position and Brylee and I have been setting up the new house. I will post picture soon of the house being set up.

We moved into our new house the second week of December so Brylee was able to have Christmas at home. It was so much fun. Her and I baked cookies for Santa. She put cookies and milk out for him and when she got up in the morning she made sure they were gone. Too Cute! We went to San Antonio to spend Christmas with our family and had a great time. Since we could not wait to be at home we left early and spent New Years in our new home. Brylee went to bed at her normal time and work up at 11:55 pm on her own so she could ring in the new year with us. Ever since then we CHEERS every time we drink something.


There has been a lot more that went on the 3 1/2 months I have not been blogging but it would take me ALL day to type it all out. I am so excited to start blogging again. Make sure you check back. For now have a great weekend and we'll talk later.
